You can, but only in one direction, but not always advantageous. 

Eighty percent of beginners will take the multiple jumps without hesitation. This is because humans are greedy by nature and jump. After all, jumping at the opportunity is not playing Kōnane if you take that extra piece just because it's there. Suppose you take the extra piece because it's part of your strategy now that's Kōnane. 

In our example, F-1 to B-1 is the winning move, but either they can hear me saying that it's not always advantageous initially, or they forgot they could double jump. Unfortunately, a lot of people only jump once for the loss. Don't be that person.
